In this course, you'll learn the fundamentals of how fire alarm systems work. you will learn about inputs and outputs, types of circuits, fire alarm wiring and get an introduction to power. You will also get an in-depth introduction to understanding circuit supervision, which is an essential component of making sure that a fire alarm system remains operational. Beyond physical systems, you will learn about AHJs, contracts and six categories of rules. You will learn how codes come into force and which codes are important to know. At the end, you will get an overview of some different career paths available in fire alarm and fire prevention.
